Project Manager — Graphic Design Department
Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager – Graphic Design to take full ownership of the design department’s operations and project execution.
This role exists to ensure projects are delivered successfully, efficiently, and at high creative quality while minimizing management involvement in day-to-day design decisions.
The selected candidate will act as the operational and creative bridge between management, clients, and the internal design team.
You’ll work closely with Content Writer, Video Editors, Designers, and clients to create content that engages, performs, and delivers results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end graphic design projects.
- Ensure timely completion and successful delivery of all projects.
- Track project progress, deadlines, and team workload.
- Maintain clear execution pipelines for ongoing design tasks.
- Ensure projects meet defined success criteria.
2. Design Direction & Quality Control
- Provide clear creative direction to the design team.
- Implement quality filters before designs are shared with management.
- Ensure deliverables are final, polished, and upload-ready.
- Maintain consistency across branding and creative outputs.
- Reduce revision cycles through structured review processes.
3. Department Ownership
- Lead and manage the Graphic Design Department.
- Build workflows that allow maximum department autonomy with minimal management intervention.
- Identify operational loopholes and design improved processes.
- Establish efficient collaboration systems within the team.
4. Client Communication & Collaboration
- Collaborate directly with clients when required.
- Understand client requirements, feedback, and revisions accurately.
- Translate client expectations into actionable design briefs.
- Maintain professional communication and relationship management.
5. Process & Tool Management
- Utilize project management tools to organize and monitor projects.
- Introduce and maintain structured design workflows.
- Improve visibility and accountability across all projects.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- Proven experience managing graphic design or creative teams.
- Strong understanding of social media design and branding.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools
(Notion, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar). - Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Understanding of UI/UX design.
- Experience with print media / advertising design.
- Agency or fast-paced creative environment experience.
